THE South London derby ended goalless but it might have been so different had George Tucadean not missed a chance at the death.

The Charlton sub, whose partner gave birth only this morning, chipped Millwall keeper David Forde in added time but the ball would not come down and first Byron Webster shielded the ball and then Alan Dunne hoofed away to save a point.

Igor Vetokele also fired a volley straight at Forde in a frantic last few seconds but neither side could make a telling finish in a game which only came to life in the closing minutes.

Millwall sub Jermaine Easter had had a drive palmed away by stand-in keeper Nick Pope but otherwise he had only one save to make, fielding easily when Ricardo Fuller tried to nudge Scott McDonald's shot around him.
